Several weeks ago Valesca got to have some experiences that gave her more appreciation for the pioneers. What a privilege! Then she was able to speak in church about it as well.

It was 19 years ago...

Yes, it was just 19 years ago on the 4th of July that Brad and Ann had their first date. I guess that is when the fireworks started and they have been going ever since.

Last evening our neighbors dropped off an "Independence Day" treat. They had hand dipped some cinnamon bears and packaged them up very smartly. (YUM) In the busy-ness of our lives I hope that we can stop every so often to remember how blessed we are to live where we live and to have the opportunities, blessings and freedoms that we enjoy. So often we forget these things.
