Car trouble

 So, we were getting Josh's yearbook pictures taken and when we were leaving, the car wouldn't start.

 Great husband came to the rescue with the jumper cables.

 He followed me to Autozone where they took our battery to test it.

An hour later they called and told us our battery was bad...YEAH FOR US!  It had 3 weeks left on the warranty and we get a new one for FREE!

Cap and Gown Pictures

 I took Josh to go and have his yearbook picture taken.

 They had him put on this spiffy fake shirt and tie.

 

 I'm sure that his pictures will turn out far better than mine are in this light.

Stake Missionary Prep Class

Valesca started attending our Stake Missionary Prep Class last year.  She got Josh to start going with her.  These young people voluntarily attend each Sunday morning at 7:30 am.   See if you can recognize Josh in the video.

 Noah is building a windmill to try and harness energy.

Josh has spent 2 long weeks at Marching Band camp this summer.  They recruited him/talked him into playing the tuba this year.

Grand Opening- Rita's Italian Ice

For FHE we went and got a free sample of Italian Ice...not sure if it was good enough to have waited in line 50 minutes for, but it tasted ok.

Serving Lunch at the Mission Conference

We were able to help serve lunch to hungry missionaries attending a Mission Conference.  It was great to hear them sing "Called to Serve".

 

I have led a sheltered life...I didn't know what a papaya was

 Valesca and her companion saw this strange fruit at the home of a member and curiously asked what it was.  The members gave it to them to take home and try.  MMMMMM papaya!

Spending the week at EFY

Both of the boys had a good time at EFY this year.  Noah said that it was the "Best week of my life!".

Pdays at the Shore

Wow, having Pday at the beach sounds like fun!

Webelos Camp

Last year of Cub Scout camp.  He is already excited to go to overnight camps when he turns 11!

Look what I won!

I entered online and won the "Ultimate Cupcake Decorating Kit".  They claimed that it is worth over $250.  Looks like I am going to have to start baking.
