School Starts Again

Mary Poppins

 The girls in the family took a trip to St. George together.  We stayed in a condo, went swimming, watched a movie, hung out together, went to see Mary Poppins at Tuacahn and had lots of fun together.

81 years young

 We celebrated the 81st birthday of Grandpa Throckmorton. 

 

 Timothy and Noah had fun making super duper ice cream cones.

We had a fun time together even though it was windy and started to rain.  Valesca was the only one missing.

Youth Conference

Youth Conference this year was spent down in Cedar City with a trip to watch Mulan down in St. George at Tuacahn.

Angels Landing

Josh went with the Priests down to Zion National Park.  They had a great time.  One of the things they did was hike to Angels Landing.

California here I come...Part 12

 We stopped at the Jelly Belly factory for a tour and samples.

 

 Some of us even tried bacon fudge.

 We stopped at the Sacramento Temple

 

 Later we ended up at the Reno Temple

 

 

 

A long drive the last day took us by the Tree of Life along the freeway.  Lots of driving, but a fun vacation.

 We say goodbye to San Francisco

 

 We drive to find Yoda at the Presidio

 

 

 

 We take a look at the Golden Gate Bridge...

 drive across and then walk back across.

 We take a surprise stop in Mill Valley and find the Throckmorton Theatre

 Here is a sidewalk...all stairs

 We walked down to Fisherman's Wharf

 Had to try to sourdough bread

 

 

 We even watched them making different creations

We watched some shows at the pier and watched the sea lions for a while before we headed back to our hotel for the day.

California here I come...Part 9

 We began our next adventurous day waiting in line for a cable car.  It was fun the watch them turn the cars around.

 

 

 Josh took the camera for our ride.  He took quite a few pictures, but only about 5 were usable.

 MMMMM...we didn't know that they gave out free samples of chocolate.

 

 We took a walk over to the Cable Car Museum.

 Not sure WHY they have to alert you when there is a hill...there are always hills here.

 While we were walking up more stairs that they called streets, we emerged here.  Notice that he is standing straight, but the hill is steep and the cars are at a harsh angle.
