Tenderfoot and Eagle Palm

So excited to have one boy receive his 4th Eagle Palm and another to receive his Scout and Tenderfoot rank advancements.

Merit badges

These guys received merit badges at the last court of honor.  This was Elijah's FIRST merit badge and FIRST court of honor as a boy scout.

Dentistry Merit Badge

 We got several of the boys in our neighborhood together at 8:00am on a Saturday morning to go to the dentist office- probably not their idea of fun.

 They learned all about teeth and being a dentist.

 If you look close, you can see that they all have pink teeth after taking the pills that show where you still need to brush.  We had lots of laughs.

Four Eagles

Now we have four Eagles!

Arrow of Light and 20 Pin Patch

Guess who we are very proud of for all of his hard work?  Wow, he has earned all 20 pins and received a special patch.  He also worked hard to get the Arrow of Light.  Congratulations!

Webelos Camp

Last year of Cub Scout camp.  He is already excited to go to overnight camps when he turns 11!

Angels Landing

Josh went with the Priests down to Zion National Park.  They had a great time.  One of the things they did was hike to Angels Landing.

Pinewood Derby- The Golden Bullet

What a fun racing day!  Although he didn't win, he had a great time!

Webelos badge, 7 pins, 1 belt loop, compass point & Religious Knot

Elijah worked very hard on his scouting while he was off track and earned a boatload of bling!

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...

Elijah was Off Track for about a month- so we had swimming lessons every other day.

Father & Son Cake Decorating Contest

These guys did a terrific job on a cake for the Blue and Gold Banquet tonight.

 

Eagle Court of Honor

 Last night we had the Eagle Court of Honor for Noah.  There were so many nice things that were said about him and the things that he does.  We are so proud of him receiving this award when he is 13 years old.

Catch the Vision

 Noah completed his Eagle Project in November.  He worked with his school and church group to gather used eyeglasses that can be given to those who cannot afford to buy them.

 He actually took 222 pairs of glasses to the charity.  They told him that he brought in more eyeglasses than they usually get donated in a whole year.

We think that he made a big difference.

Raingutter Regatta

 Pack Meeting- Elijah has worked hard and has received his BEAR!

 He painted and carved his boat for the Raingutter Regatta.  Then he raced by blowing into the sail with a straw.

He did a great job and had loads of fun.  Can you see Yoda on the sail and the numbers 5 & 4?  The numbers are for May the 4th (may the force be with you).
