Orson Pratt was actually much younger looking when he was the first pioneer to enter the Salt Lake Valley on the 21st of July. We are grateful for his efforts and his testimony. He was a very interesting man. One thing that may not be well known is that he was the last surviving member of the Quorum of the 12 apostles who had served with Joseph Smith.
