Utah Food Bank

This morning our family volunteered at the Utah Food Bank. We delivered boxes of food to people around the valley. Service always makes you feel good, and helps you appreciate all of your own blessings.

We have had this on our calendar for several weeks and Elijah has been anticipating this activity from the minute we told him about it. We told him what we would be doing and he said "Is that all? Can't we do more than that?" We told him that we would do whatever they needed us to do. The closer the day came, the more excited he got. This morning as we were leaving he became very disappointed because he thought that we were going to do this EVERY Saturday, not just this once. We all enjoyed our little acts of service today. I am so grateful that my kids look forward to and enjoy serving others.
